Gary,
You’ve stated that plenty of people tell you that they want to become a billionaire so they can buy a professional team. And that you are fearful that people who watch your videos are only choosing to pursue something that grand because its what someone else wants for them. I can tell you right now for an absolute fact, that is not the case for me.
I’ve had a passion for entrepreneurship before I knew the word existed. But more importantly my passion, mission and ultimate goal in life is to help as many other people possible, turn their passions in to thriving businesses.
Though I’m a professional soccer player by trade, I consider myself, and introduce myself first and foremost an entrepreneur.
I entered the MLS (Major League Soccer) in 2009. Over the course of my career I’ve met countless people who have a huge passion for the game of soccer but were unable to figure out how to make the game work for them.
During this time I have also seen countless players taken complete advantage of by agents and rules of our league, and I hate it with a epic passion.
I set out to learn and document every single step of the process to becoming a professional soccer player, with the goal of creating a sports marketing agency that once we sign a player, the first question we ask is.. “what do you want to do once you’re done playing soccer?” Because all players make the mistake of not leveraging their time and status as an athlete to prepare for their life after their career is over. Mainly because all they really want to do is focus on the sport they love.
This has created the current sports marketing world that doesn’t function in the best interest of the players, they take advantage of their lack of knowing how the whole system actually works. And I am going to completely change that.
I knew in order to do so, I had a lot of work to do. So that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 8 years, working. I learned corporate entity structuring, taxes, business building, social media, paid advertising, affiliate marketing, website creation, sales conversion funnels, importing, manufacturing, video editing, photoshop, product development, email marketing, SEO, consulting, CBA rules, contract negotiations and more. I even became my own agent along the way.
I’ve been putting in place my overall plan for how to not only teach every player in the league how to understand and maximize their value as a player, but also how to take their future in to their own hands. And this is just the soccer side of things. I have a larger vision of leveraging all of this for my other larger business and life goals. Similar to how you used the wine industry to get your foot in the door.
My father was an immigrant from Nigeria, and I also feel I was the product of perfect parenting. I’ve known what my life purpose was from the age of 9.

Like I mentioned, I’ve been working to understand everything that I’ll need to achieve the very large goals I have set for myself.
